Privacy Policy
Effective September 3, 2026
1. Who we are and what this covers
Coastline Home Media LLC ("Coastline Home Media," "we," "us") is a Florida limited liability company based in Pompano Beach, Florida. We are an advertising and media company. We create and run advertising campaigns that connect homeowners with companies that provide home services and related products.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit coastlinehomemedia.com and any other website, landing page, or advertising page that we operate and that links to this policy (together, the "Sites"). It also applies to information we receive when you interact with our advertisements on third-party platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
This policy does not cover the practices of the service providers, advertisers, or advertising networks we work with. When your information is passed to one of those companies, their own privacy policy governs how they use it.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit a request for a quote, estimate, or callback through one of our Sites, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and postal address or ZIP code.
- Details about your home and the service you are interested in, such as property type, whether you own or rent, the age or condition of a system, your project timeline, and your budget range.
- Any other information you choose to include in a form or message.
Information collected automatically
When you visit a Site, we and our service providers automatically collect:
- Device and browser information, including IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, screen size, and language settings.
- Usage information, including the pages you view, the ad or link that brought you to the Site, time spent on a page, clicks, scrolling, and form interactions.
- Approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Identifiers stored in cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, described in section 6.
Consent documentation
Our lead forms use a third-party consent verification service (currently TrustedForm, operated by ActiveProspect, Inc.). This service records how the form appeared to you and how you interacted with it, including timestamps, the disclosure text you were shown, and your inputs, and generates a certificate that proves what you consented to. We keep this certificate as a record of your consent.
Information from other sources
We may receive information from advertising platforms (for example, aggregated or hashed campaign data from Meta), from phone and data validation services that confirm whether a phone number is active and what type of line it is, and from the partners who receive our leads, such as whether a lead was accepted or resulted in an appointment.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Match your service request with one or more companies that provide that service in your area, and transmit your request to them.
- Verify that contact information is accurate and that a request is legitimate.
- Document and retain proof of your consent to be contacted.
- Measure, report on, and improve the performance of our advertising, including which ads and pages lead to completed requests.
- Build and deliver advertising audiences on platforms such as Meta, including audiences of people similar to those who have requested a service.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and duplicate or automated submissions.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and the terms of our partners.
- Respond to your questions and requests.
4. How we share information
We share personal information in the following ways:
- Service providers and advertisers. When you submit a request, we send your information to one or more home-service companies, their marketing partners, or advertising networks that connect us to them, so that they can contact you about the service you requested. We are typically compensated for these referrals. Depending on the request, more than one company may receive your information.
- Vendors that support our business. We use third parties to host our Sites, track and attribute campaigns, validate phone numbers, verify consent, analyze how visitors use our pages, and send email. These vendors are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us.
- Advertising platforms. We share information with Meta and similar platforms through pixels and server-side integrations so that we can measure results and improve targeting. This may include hashed contact information and event data such as a completed form.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe it is required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Coastline Home Media, our partners, or others.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Under some state privacy laws, sharing your information with a service provider or advertiser in exchange for compensation is considered a "sale" of personal information, and sharing with advertising platforms for targeted advertising is considered "sharing." You can opt out as described in sections 7 and 8.
5. Consent to be contacted
Our lead forms include a written disclosure explaining who may contact you and how. By submitting a form and agreeing to that disclosure, you authorize the named companies to contact you at the phone number and email address you provided, including by telephone calls and text messages that may be delivered using an automatic telephone dialing system or a prerecorded or artificial voice, even if your number is on a national, state, or company do-not-call list. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply. You may revoke consent to be contacted by a specific company by following that company's opt-out instructions, or by contacting us and we will forward your request.
The exact disclosure language and the list of companies that may contact you appear on the form itself at the time you submit it.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
We and our vendors use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies on the Sites. These include:
- Advertising pixels, such as the Meta Pixel, which let us measure whether an ad led to a visit or a completed form and build advertising audiences.
- Campaign tracking, which records the ad, placement, and campaign that brought you to a Site so that results can be attributed correctly.
- Analytics and session tools, such as heatmap and session recording tools, which show us how visitors move through a page so we can improve it. These tools are configured to mask sensitive form fields.
- Consent verification scripts, described in section 2.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how the Sites work. To limit Meta's use of data for advertising, visit your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences. You can also use industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org. Our Sites do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.
7. Your choices
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information. Email christopher@coastlinehomemedia.com with the subject "Do not sell or share my information." We will stop sharing your information with new partners and advertising platforms. Information already transmitted to a partner is governed by that partner's policy.
- Stop calls or messages. Reply STOP to any text message, tell any caller you no longer wish to be contacted, or email us and we will forward your request to the companies that received your information.
- Access, correct, or delete your information. Email us and we will respond as described in section 8.
8. State privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of its sale or sharing or its use for targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise these rights by emailing christopher@coastlinehomemedia.com.
We will verify your request by matching the information you provide against the information we hold. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may require proof of the agent's authority. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, generally 45 days. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
California residents
In the preceding twelve months we have collected the categories of personal information described in section 2, including identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, approximate geolocation, and inferences about your service needs. We have sold or shared identifiers, customer records, commercial information, and internet activity to the categories of recipients described in section 4. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information other than as permitted by law.
9. Data retention and security
We keep lead and consent records for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described above and to meet our legal and contractual obligations, which for consent records is typically at least five years. Campaign and analytics data is kept for as long as it is useful for measuring performance. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted transmission, access controls, and vetted vendors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Sites are intended for adults who own or are responsible for a home. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of the page and, for material changes, provide additional notice on the Sites. Your continued use of the Sites after a change means you accept the updated policy.
